You know, it's amazes me what kind of pure fairy tales you can find in the "testimonials" posted on some websites.
People will say and sign their names to the darndest things sometimes and you really need to know the entire back story to realize what a load of crap it is.
Here's a little gem I came accross just today.

Well those are some pretty amazing stories aren't they? If I didn't know better, I'd think those people were really genuine and I might even believe that Langley Grove Estates really is a peacefull well managed park full of mature well behaved residents, safe and secure, with not a worry in the world.
But let's look a little closer at these "testimonials" and add a little background information for those who don't normally follow the bigger picture.
Testimonial number one posted by::
"Ralph and Sharon"
Who are "Ralph and Sharon"?
A Simple Google search provides the answer to that question.
Refine the search a little and the reason for this glowing review becomes pretty apparent.
In fact, most of this "testimonial" is total hogwash and the exact opposite is in fact the reality.
It appears that the writer is even directly responding to past complaints that have been forwarded to the park "social" committee.
Testimonial number two posted by:
"Gordon and Bev"
Who are "Gordon and Bev"?
Well, this would be Bev Mutschke of course.
She's the newsletter editor here and a member of the "social" committee.
There are in fact residents of ages from old to young living here and that just reinforces my view that this is really not an "Adult Lifestyle" community as advertised.
But quiet and peacefull?? They must live on one of the culdesacs, or a fair distance away from any of the park entrances.
Bev once contacted us in a very unsocial manner, using a false return email address, and demanding that she not be listed as a member of the "social" committee.
Testimonial number three posted by:
"Doug and Marlene"
Who are "Doug and Marlene"?
Doug Bennet is another "social" committee member.
I met Doug and spoke with him a few times when I first moved here and I actually thought he was a likeable genuine person.
However, since the park was sold, and various management problems began to surface and were reported,
well.....
let's just say Doug has developed a little problem with communication ettiquette, and, first impressions may not always be what they seem.

So I guess it might appear to some that this whole "testimonials" page was just cooked up by "social" committee members and/or realtors trying to counter some of the less praising information that turns up now in many search results and friendly neighborhood discussions.
Of course it's always up to the responsible reader to decide for themselves between fact and fiction.
Some people really like a good fairy tale! ;)
